Shout out to Modded. I hit a shift in the road yesterday and I really think having 44 psi saved my rim. I believe my bead ripped so the tire was toast.
Happy New year peoples

Hate to burst your bubble but your rim is probably bent and you'll be able to feel it in your steering wheel.
At least it isn't a visual bend tho!

That's lucky but there is usually a sweet spot speed in my experience in which you notice the bend although at most speeds you're fine.
I'm happy for you tho if it isn't bent because that's a huge pain in the ass especially for chrome wheels

Hopefully I can keep it straight a few more months until I can buy a daily. Then I can square the rims. :roflsquared:

"Superman that Hoe...."

Sorry about the rim Fearz. How's the ride at 44psi? Seems like it'd be pretty firm?

Modded, how different is the Ride quality on a 3/5 drop vs 2/3??

Damn Fearz that sucks that you almost messed up the Slides. They are less than a month old.
The 44 PSI did save you though because if you had 35 in there that rim would have been done for.

The 3/5 rides like the 2/3 in the front, but the rear is a bit more firm now.

Naw, Since i got hired at a computer service place as second I.T person. I have to deliver things sometimes. Wasn't really in my job description, but you gotta to do what they ask. I had to pick up and drop off some toners yesterday so unfamilar roads lead to this. Probably get a 240 or Honda so i can beat on it sometimes.

I still say my 26's at 42-44psi ride better then my 20's with Falken's at 32-35 PSI. Just now bad roads are about the same, but I can really teel the difference when I am on smooth roads.
