Took a ride around the island and took some pics. Got her a year ago (1999, 120k miles) with a lot of problems; an ongoing project. Just came back from the shop with new heads, starter and ring-gear. I already serviced the trans and all fluid leaks fixed. Installed escalade 17" rims on 285/60 tires, K&N air-filter and flowmaster muffler (2.5" pipes will be installed soon when I get the right tips). Saving some dollars to repair the AC soon too. I got to have her running just right before I start any other mods.

With all the breakdowns I had with this rig I get to love her more for the stories & adventure she gives me, priceless! Thanks for a great site for all us owners to come together and share a common bond.

Nice ride! The scenery is official too...

Good luck with the repairs and you got your ducks in a row. A stock ride on the road beats a modded one in the parked in the drive everytime :hands:

Thanks for the support. It will be a slow build due to finances and the prices for parts here are double compared to prices in the states. Like what the elders here say "money don't grow on trees, just coconuts!"

Thanks again guys. :)

Nice rig! I've seen those wheels somewhere..... Hmmmmm lol ( as I turn to look out into my driveway at my hoe) and reliable before radical is a good place to start with any project in my eyes. Make it run, then make it run better!

True that Maxxtraxx. Yes I've been hunting for your rig-pics on the site to get a good look of your rims and one word came to mine "classy!" I like OEM rims; I'm thinking somewhere down the line I'll find some escalade 22s for new kicks. In due time... But 18th letter got the color combo I like for my kon.

Lots of motivation for ideas here.

Took the pics today for you guys. So that even on this rock in the middle of the pacific (6-to-7 hr time difference) there are hoes & kons. Glad you all like them. Will post more pics soon.
