Ok folks I give up.....
2015 Chevy Tahoe LTZ
About a month ago I had this colorful dash display. I was stopped (in park) and all of a sudden my dash blows up with Service this Service that. The shop supposedly fixes it, loose negative battery cable on the battery... less then 24 hours later it was back.
I’ve replaced the negative battery cable (the one that goes to Chassis behind RF fender liner and also to the motor). I cleared the codes that I could last night 11-25-2020... here is what the codes where last night when I went to clear them (last photo)...

Randomly I’ve had no power steering. Park it and next time I start it no power steering. Heck I’ve even had no power steering and parked it and then went to start it and all was fine for maybe 30 miles????

Lately it’s been just service stable track and trailer brake along with action required power steering reduced. Most of the time turning vehicle off then back on again “clears” it. And it might come right back on or it might be minutes/ miles or might get a trip into work (25miles).

~ Yes, my seat belt was off (was about to get out and open a gate) so do not factor in that light/ indicator.

~ Rumor is there is a recall on the Power Steering? and or ABS Module???

~ Wanting to get this fixed so Victoria can actually drive it safely.

Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the forum from Virginia. It sounds electrical and the ground wires are usually the culprit. I have the prior model and have 3 so not sure about yours. How’s your battery and did you clean the connection points well with a wire brush or the like? Not sure about the recall but it’d be on the NTSB website.

I'll support the grounding issue - but which one? Might check the ground for the ECM and your main fuse block since the issues are so widespread. Also check for corrosion within the fuse block.

So tonight I unplugged the fuse housing from where it plugs into the lower tray. Also checked the battery connections:
+ Battery > fuse box= good
+ battery > alternator= good

Have not put hands on the plug that is down behind the radiator close to the cross member (red with blue stripe?). All the + battery connections ON the battery are above 12.0

Not sure on the suv's but on the pickups with this issue one big one seems to be the G218 BCM ground, which is in the upper left hand corner just under the drivers dash speaker, apparently some of the sound deadening material is caught under the ground point and leads to problems like this.
