My thoughts also. Unless there is a crazy ABS failure thats preventing the base brakes from working as intended, pulling the ABS fuse prevents ABS intervention, thus leaving you with base conventional brakes. How would that be better than just pulling a fuse?
I did this to both my truck's. The only reason I did this is I had the ABS kick in on a dry road a few times and could not trust it. Brakes work fine But your Brake Light may stay on all the time.I am about to remove the entire ABS system on my 02 Hoe 4x4 and go conventional. Anybody done this? Im told its pretty straight forward.
The ABS is a nice system when it works as it should. unless it's randomly coming on when you don't want it to I would leave it alone.I am about to remove the entire ABS system on my 02 Hoe 4x4 and go conventional. Anybody done this? Im told its pretty straight forward.
I would imagine there are reasons for wanting to disable abs such as for off-roading
