Hey all. My 08 Yukon XL denali 6.2 recently started flashing the traction and abs lights off and on. It won't just come on and stay on but flashes while driving. I replaced throttle position sensor, brake switch , and I have redone all my grounds ... I don't have a good scanner to see if it is a wheel speed sensor. Has anyone dealt with this and is there a way to pull codes without a thech2 scanner?

A scanner that can read abs/srs will see the code, if there is no code stored in the history then you may have to wait until the abs light is on then scan while the light is on.
the most common issue is a wheel hub or abs sensor

Well the two front bearings are brand new so sensors are new. Not saying one can't be bad. But maybe I need to replace rear sensors

Before you start throwing parts at it, get a reader that can read ABS codes or take it to Autozone and see what codes they can pull. Once you have those, you can start figuring out what’s going on.

I gotcha... The parts I replaced are ones that I knew needed it. But also were known accomplses to this issue.

A Rear sensor issue is pretty rare, if you plan on doing your own work or plan to keep the vehicle for a while a clone tech2 or vx diag nano is a good investment. the off the shelf scanners only do so much abs/srs capability is nice but there made to work with the obdii standard across the board, when you start getting into deeper problems then you need a manufacture specific tool.

Have you done/had any work done on the rear suspension? Rear abs connector on top of the frame is prone to pull apart.
