operating temperature

Hello
I have 99 tahoe 2dr 4x4 that runs around 150. I remember it used to be around 210. I did change the thermostat and fan clutch but it still stays at 150. I also popped the radiator cap off to see if coolant was flowing and it wasnt. There no heat in the winter for obvious reason. any thoughts please :emotions133:

exactly when did you take the cap off to check after coolant flow. and do your heater hoses get hot at all on either side of the water valve for the heater core. need to establish a timeline on the different variables in your situations. any one fault you have a different end effects on something else. for example if no coolant was flowing in the radiator then after warmed up the heater hoses or bypass hose should be hot. and if those are hot then the temp gauge would normally be higher. and if the temp gauge was accurate at 150 then that would be you have not let the truck get completely hot or even the thermostat is stuck open which means you would see flow in the radiator.
