ac clutch stays engaged when air on

I just bought a 2001 Yukon xl. Found the previous owner had bypassed the switch on the accumulator. So when I twisted the wires together my compressor clutch works. But now it won't shut off unless you turn off the whole system.


So, what is the switch Om the accumulator, and would it affect my clutch staying on all the time?
