Hello all. I recently started using the heat for the first time and when I'm stopped or moving slow I notice what sounds like the AC compressor cycling. I have the AC turned off; heat is set coming out at the floor. Is this normal?

Not normal. If neither the AC or Defrost are activated it could be a relay that's stuck in closed circuit.

Mine will sometimes do that. Only if I have the heat set on floor and defrost, or just the defroster. But it doesn't do it when set to only the dash vents or only the floor vents.

Most cars with climate control run the compressor all the time (except when it's really cold, to prevent evaporator ice-up) to de-moist the air.. :)
