ac compressor swap

i have a 2002 escalade with rear ac... i went to an autoparts going out of bussiness sale the other day and i got a new ac compressor because mine died. i was told the ac com pressor was the denso 10s17f for this m odel but wen i removed it i had a denso10s20f...everything fits but there is no reac electrical connection on the back of the new compressor,the clunch will not engage is there anyway to bypass this

BUMP....just did this myself...and installed everything only to notice the same issue...what do i do???? Any help would be a life saver!!

If it was like mine, the rear sensor needs to be swapped over. Mine had a plug on the rear of the new pump held in by a snap ring. Removed the snap ring, pulled the plug, slid the sensor in, and re installed the snap ring. Hopefully yours is similar!
