Too late now as you went with AC Delco which should be great. FWIW I have run the Powerstop Z23 all-in-one kit on my 06 Tahoe for a while now and been pleased with it. Big tank to slow down on 24s, but does what they need to do.

Delco shoes /parts came today. Look really nicely made. A world of difference from the previous Pep Boys junk. Shame RockAuto didn't package my shit properly so it's been banging around all the way across the country.

Trying out Powerstop on my daughter's Kia, the Yukon got all ACDelco or GM OE this time around. Brakes for me and my house last a lot longer than they used to. We did the rears on our old Pontiac at 70K miles. Did the rears on the Yukon for the first time at over 100K. First set of front pads went 55K and now 135K.

Pretty sure the set I took off a couple years back were original and had done 100k. One of the replacement shoes never fitted properly but I put it in anyway as I had no other vehicle to return them with. Now it's giving me problems. When the brakes warm up that side is vibrating, and both sides squeal. Should have done it right the first time. :)

Hang on to the existing pin and clip that connects the parking brake lever to the shoe, the pin in my Delco kit was a little short and clip kind of dinky compared to the original.

I save everything. I still have most of the parts I've replaced. I had issues with the generic kit and put a few original bits back, although I'm not sure if that was one of them. I probably saved the old ones with what was left of the kit if I need them. Thanks for the tip.
