Yeah it's weird because the original part is a two bolt with a cover that mounts over the original holes that move those original holes out. With the cover on its a four hole but only two bolts and mounts. If that makes any sense

If in doubt, call the dealer with your vin and have them give you the correct part number. A lot of times autozone or oreillys wont cross it to the correct part, even if they have the correct one on the shelf.

i have a 2004 Tahoe Z71 with 135,000 miles and the manual slide AC/heat controls. I have the AC on and everything blows out normal driving down the road but then the out put from the vents gets slower, like I were to turn the setting down but I haven't touched anything. When I turn it down to say #1 setting it barely blows out any AC at all. Any thoughts? Other issue is driving it is cold but when it comes to a stop for any amount of time it slowly starts to get warmer, any thought? I was thinking either the Freon was low or there is an issue with the blower resistor. The rear AC blows out air but is not cold. Figured I would post here since there was no response on interior.

As for the air volume coming out, I'm assuming you are talking about the front vents. When the air volume drops do you have air coming out to the floor or defrost dash vents? Sounds like a mode door/actuator issue.

As for the a/c blowing warmer at stops, it's just the lack of airflow through the condenser. The only fix for that is an e-fan conversion. I have a police HD fan clutch on mine and it still drops in temp at stops. Cruising down the freeway it blows 35 degrees F.

Never have thought about checking the defrost or floor ducts when it drops down. I will check it out, thanks for the reply.
