Lately I have noticed that my A/C blows "Fresh" air and not icy cold. After driving a little it will improve but as soon as you stop at a light it goes back to "fresh" air again. I've read several threads here and thought my AC needed recharged. This had no positive effect and the problem not only remains but why not add another problem as a result. Now at randomly the A/C is puking out green oil and I cant tell if its belt smoke or a mist of freyon. It did this a few times and does affect engine idle and power while driving but the puking seems to have resolved itself but what was going on and why is my ac not icy cold? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

First freon cannot be seen. Green oil is compressor oil. If it is puking like you say you need to get that fixed asap. it will seize and cost a lot more to fix. They are sealed systems you should never have anything coming out. I would also suggest having it done with a complete flush you may have debris that causing it to not cool untill under load.

Its a sealed system due to ozone laws. If its leaking like you say its too late to save it. I wish i had better news than that. where is it leaking from? a hose or from the compressor itself
