Only my high fan switch was working, so I replaced the resistor for it. It worked!! Day after that, nothing. Still only the high works. Is it blowing the resistor somehow?

try replacing the switch but that sounds odd. is there clogging debris blocking airflow pass resister coils keeping it cooled down?

When I took the old one out, it looked clean. and nothing looked burnt or broken. So how do I get up in there? Is there a good youtube video?

not sure about you tube myself but if it looks clean on the resistor coils look elsewhere like the switch or connectors for block and switches on the system and look for signs of overheating.

rotor shaft in the blower motor. non-serviceable unit to the end user. you just replace the motor. the commutator bars or windinds in a d.c. motor can short causing issues sometimes that may mimic your resistor burn-out issues. example of worn ones.
