Ac switch

So half of my dual climate control switches light up and the side that lights up is the passenger side. So when I turned my heater on that's the only side that had hot air blowing out of the vents. Is this a fuse or a do I need a new ac switch?

Why doesn't anyone post the year, make, model of rig? Chevy or GMC, Tahoe or Yukon, what year. C'mon man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now don't take this wrong. Look at my signature and see my age. I am a man or guy but have never been a bro unless it was my brothers. LOL!

Ok, now on to try and help. Have you had the battery go dead or unhooked recently? If so the BCM sometimes has to be reset with a correct scanner. Sometimes even with no battery problems. Did this happen all of a sudden or gradually?

I just bought it about a week ago so not since I've had it I remember that side used to light up but the radio didn't light up and the speedometer was screwy and had dead lights also so maybe that had something to do with it?

Turn the ignition switch to "ON."

Press the "Auto" button on the climate control panel. The button is located in the top left corner of the control panel in most Tahoe models.

Press the "+" button on the left side of the climate control panel to increase the desired temperature setting.

Press the "-" button on the left side of the climate control panel to decrease the desired temperature setting. The system automatically sets all climate control features to the proper settings to maintain the desired temperature.

You do have actuators that control blend doors so any number of things could be going on but I lean toward the BCM because of the other numerous dash problems. I would never ever throw parts at it. Have it checked by a qualified tech and then post results here. Always post problems and fixes in chronological order. Like the first of your post was only about climate control and did not have any info about the other problems.

The least expensive attempt would be the BCM reset. Check pricing at dealer and other shops.
