Question where is the drivers side actuator located?
The link I was given just says the passenger is under the kick panel...
BUT another thread says its behind the radio?

behind radio. You'll have to pull the dash topper to get to it

I know im a rookie but I think you are incorrect.

I have had a few people on other sites tell me drivers side is under the kick panel.
Does anyone have a repair manual that can verify?

Wow you must have had a few too many beers my man!!! LoL

The link you gave me only confirmed that the passenger actuator is located under the dash.... As they are clearly taking the dash apart and the title of it says "2004 Chevrolet Silverado, Changing The Passenger Side Blend Door Actuator"....

Every link you have me confirmed you were backwards.
The drivers side actuator is located under the kick panel and the passenger under the dash behind the radio....

No Biggie you still helped me figure out...
Just confused me with the first link you gave me as he stated the passenger is under the kick panel.....

Thanks

Actually, I read your post backwards. I thought you were asking for the passenger side, not the drivers side. Sorry about that.

either way.... now we know where they are!!!!

I would personally just buy an AC Delco part. I got a new one on ebay for right around $100 if I remember correctly. From what I have read the dorman parts can be hit or miss and if you shop around a GM part won't be too much more.

LOL Its ok the links you provided about the dash are saved on my favorites.
They might come in handy down the line.

Glad its the easy one and its making the clicking noise under the kick panel...
Is there any chance you guys might know the part number?
I would rather order the correct part , and remove and reinstall.
