Has anyone had an issue where the ac tensioner is touching the steering idler arm bolt? Trying to figure out how to fix it, i think this yukon must have had a front in crash at some point in the previous life way before i have had it.

I was looking at maybe replacing the pitman arm and the steering idler and arm. But dont think that will fix it, Maybe grinding the head of that bolt down a bit.

Need advice. Thank you

I’m thinking check motor mounts, or look for accident damage

motor mounts look good as far as no engine movement when reving. I didnt see any damaged areas, so if it was they did a good job fixing it.

Just checking in on what you ended up doing. I’m having the same issue on my ‘04 Z71!

Also, apologies for the informality on my first post on the forum! New comer here, excited to learn and share!

Can you turn that bolt around so the threaded part is sticking out on the opposite side and there’s more clearance by the tensioner?
