$9500 is WAY too much with a salvage title. The rule of thumb is salvage title valve is half what clean title value is. You could probably buy that same truck with a clean title for maybe $2k more. It is just an SLT, nothing special. HARD PASS. You could buy a Denali or Escalade for a little more you go 07-09 (the best years anyway because no AFM) or spend a little more for an 11-12. Do not buy that. It is worth $5k at best.

You've got B and C pillar damage there as well as floor damage... they paid way too much at auction for it... I would walk away from that...

You guys forget he is in California, prices for Yukons here are fairly high still. Lots with 150k are around 14-15k. I'm assuming OP is weighing in prices on non salvaged vehicles.

From everything I’ve seen, these trucks are cheaper in CA than in the rest of the country because of the fuel prices and forcing people to EVs.

The report said $14k to fix it. Nothing adds up. Grab a magnet and start looking for bondo on the B & C pillars where there’s concealed structural damage.

They’ve successfully gotten all the codes to turn off. Call OnStar and inquire about info on past / current codes and accident alerts.

You’d MUST get the damage report from the Insurance company to CYA and verify all was fixed. They’d have the photos too. Maybe your current Ins company can get that for you. Otherwise, too risky for a new collision and ANY insurance company will screw you n repairs in the future.

I recently bought a salvage title loaded Yukon Denali,
it was totaled because of wreck in the front end sheet metal,
no damage to frame, 6.2 motor ! I removed damaged hood and fender and grill, replaced radiator and a few smaller parts plus steering wheel air bag, all good now working out collision sensor errors now.
it was a a great deal, if you know why it was salvaged. this is for a Hot Rod project,
basically stripping off Yukon body, and putting a C10 Truck body on the complete chassis !
Holler if you need Yukon Denali body parts.
