add 3 inchs to my tahoe?

i have a skyjacker 3 1/2 inch lift and want three more inchs so do i scrap the old lift and buy new or do i buy a body lift and fab some rear bumper brackets to move it up has anyone done this

if u can afford it just buy a bigger lift. you'll do it in the end anyways, trust me.
