I have a dual battery setup in my '10 tahoe, and I'd like to add a 500w inverter /w 110v outlet along with a multi usb charging port. Does anyone have a link to a good thread, doesn't necessarily have to be GM related. Just trying to figure out the bill of material, wiring setup, etc....

Something like this, but I just need the usb and 110v outlet.

what i'd like to do is install a usb and 110v receptacle like the one you see in the picture above. I'd like the 110v receptacle on the passenger side and the usb receptacle on the drivers side. usually google shopping is good to me but I'm having a hell of a time trying to find a part like this. can anyone help? thanks

you can do the single USB that comes stock in one or both of those holes.

I don't think anyone has modified the 07-14 dash for those 15+ pieces, but you could DEFINITELY be the first. You can get all those parts from GM and do it yourself, then post a how on here like I did with the 07-14

I used the painless 40120 which is absolutely worthless. It only engages the second battery when you put a big load on the system like a winch, plow, etc. Just purchase new identical batteries and have someone wire them in parallel for you. Especially if you are running a stereo. My starting battery dies in like 20 minutes after having the stock bose system on.

what I would like to do with my truck is have a similar setup to my boat with the Perko switch. I would like to isolate a house battery that would handle a 1500w inverter, and isolate charging so it doesn't strain the alternator. But I would also like to be able to combine (2) yellow tops in case I'm tailgating and want to play tunes.

It would be a similar system as to what's in my boat with the Blue Seas ACR and Perko Switch.

This is the kit I got to go with my XS D3400. Its really only to charge my phone and provide some light with a small LED lantern. I don't really listen to the radio very much but I will be adding some LED light bars.

I'll have to look up blue seas acr and perko switch, I'm not very familiar with all this electronic stuff, hahaha.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
