Adding a USB hub

The overhead console that has the heater control and the mic for the onstar, does the cover just pop off? I am wanting to wire a USB hub in there so I don't have a crap load of wires to run to the cigarette lighter, i'm adding a driving cam that hooks to my rearview mirror, and i dont want wires dangling everywhere.

But you must finese it. There are tabs on it, and you should be able to feel them by sliding a flat PLASTIC pry tool in thier. If you dont have one, use a small thin flat blade screw driver, only if you must. I know this is the case in my 06 denali.. so yours may be slightly different.

One screw, two clips, that's it. Just give it a good yank, it'll pop off.
