Thats not true for the 2022 and newer yukons.You just need to be sure that the frequency that your truck uses for the current TPMS sensors is the same frequency for the new TPMS sensors.

I think they are trying to tell you that it is more than just Frequency for the new VIP architecture. Exactly what the "extra" is is unknonwn, but I do know that the Tahoes/Yukons/Suburbans/XL's and Escalades use a different P/N sensor than the trucks.What frequency do these VIP tpms sensors use? too add to the next level of confusion. 2 sensors I picked up from one dealer part#13542523 and 2 sensors from another dealer part#13533166 As a test prior to installing tried to get the Yukon to pair with them with my TPMS tool.
