Adding gauges...

I have been looking at this setup for a while now. What do you guys think? Is there a different gauge you would get besides the ones I picked?

Looks like a nice pod. What gauges are you planning on putting in there?

The only one I'd really be interested in would be a trans temp gauge.

Right now I have the air/fuel ratio, fuel psi and trams temp. I really don't know what the best ones to pick would be. I want the trans temp as you said but am unsure on the other two.

I don't care for the way the pillar pods stick out. I'm planning on putting a couple gauges up in the overhead console where the rear a/c controls would be. I'm thinking I'll do air/fuel ratio and a vac/boost gauge.

I thought about trying to add a trans temp and fuel psi gauge to the dash near the steering wheel, but haven't looked at that too much yet. You know those blank spots on the bezel on either side of the wheel, below the gauge cluster? I thought about trying to get some gauges in there.

for the OBS trucks I would recommend the Voltage and the Tranny temp gauges. I did these and then added a Scan-tool for the other info. I mounted the two mentioned gauges in the overhead where the A/C controls would have been. They fit real nice there and are easy to see. I have a 2dr, so your vehicle could be different. with all this though, I have not had much need for anything else to give me the vehicle info.

system voltage is not really critical enough that the primary gauge and batt indicator cant help show a problem.
