I'm looking to add some RGB LED strip lighting to the bottom side of my running boards and was wondering where would be the best place to tap in for power? Wondering if there was a grommet by the door that I can come through and tap in on something in the interior? If anybody has any suggestions please let me know. Was planning on doing them today!

Truck is a 2012 Yukon Denali

Thanks,
DW

Orange wire underneath the dash. Same wire as the dome lights. I'll try to find a pic I took of me grabbing the power from mine.

Looks pretty cool, especially on the blacked out Yukon.

What kind of lights did you buy? Do you have any better pictures of it? Was wanting to do the same thing!

If I understand correctly, do the ones on the running boards come on when the car is unlocked?

The LED's our company's private labeled lights. I've got mine wired to a remote. They do not come on when the door open up.
