adding lift to level kit

This is my opinion but an opinion based on facts. You really need to step back and decide what your end goal is, if you want to end up with a 6" lift then buy a 6" lift. You have so many different components going on that you're going to end up spending more replacing damaged parts from extreme angles and parts being stretched out. The reason quality lift kits are expensive is that they're designed to operate at that certain height, give you correct angles, and be safe. Leveling kits and stacking this with that are going to give you more trouble in the end.

Yeah I agree. You can't go any higher than you are now without buying a full lift kit which would replace your existing kit. Atleast you dropped your diff a little to help with the 3" kit or your CV's would be screaming. I have been thinking about replacing my 2.5/1.5 with the 3/2 but with a 1" diff drop bracket like you have.

Ok. Yetes I'm deffinitly with you. however my biggest problem is that most of the expensive lift kits that I have seen have drop brackets or spacers of some sort included in them. What's your opinion on a quality lift brand?

The angles right now are not great but they're not terrible either but I wouldn't push it any further. The problem isn't using spacers per say but more that if the differential is not dropped proportionally with the hubs then you're essentially putting your CV joints in a bind. There is more to most lift kits than just this one point but it is the most looked over. If you did not have the drop bracket installed on the diff your angles would be much worse, probably already would have noticed damaged parts, if you want three more inches you're going to need to have more of a diff drop (I would suggest a 5-6" diff drop to give you flatter angles).

Honestly I have never lifted a 1/2 ton so I am not an expert on the different brands but research them, find what is in your price range and look at the reviews, if you're seeing bad reviews you may need to adjust your price range. A little savings now can end up costing you more in the end with parts replacements.

You need a real lift. Your upper A-Arm has next to no down travel as it is now. And will slam the bracket at a slightest pot hole if you lift more.

Didn't even look at that :smh: Want to be able to at least get a finger between the upper control arm and droop stop.

Can't find a good pic of the droop stop but here is the cognito kit on my old Chevy set to essentially its highest setting, notice the angles are still relatively flat.
