Adding oem nav

I have a 01 non bose and want to install the factory nav. Can you tell me what I need or if its worth the upgrade.

I know for a fact that some modification is going to have to be done with the cage. I think the nav is all DD if I am not mistaken. Secondly, I think if you find a oem unit, it somehow have to be "synced" or something like that to your vin number to even work. I could be wrong on all of this though. Just going on memory now. I played with the idea and decided on not doing it.

You'll need to look for a double din kit...I think someone has them for sale in the for sale section.

Syncing/installing factory nav would probably be a ton more work (and possible more $) than going for a good aftermarket double din solution.

Yes Sanddperformance has the DD kit for sale for a good price. Like physh1 said I'd look into an aftermarket nav.
