Our 2016 Yukon SLT has the 2nd row buckets that "power fold" with the buttons on either the rear door post or the buttons in the cargo area. Has anyone installed additional buttons near the driver to allow for folding these seats while in the drivers seat? I ask this because we test drove an Infiniti QX80 and it had this ability. We joked that it was almost like an ejector seat. I think instead of having to tell new passengers to press the button and them having to search to find what you're talking about, it might be a convenience to have an additional button in a more handy location.

Thoughts?

If this needs to be moved to the "interior" forum, I can move it there and this one can be removed.

I found the part number for the seat switch that controls the middle bucket seats from the rear hatch (22870109). Now just to figure out how to tie it in to the existing harness and find a place to install it in the front driver's area.

Is it on the key fog? I don't have the keys in front but I will check tomorrow.

Never mind. Thats another option you have. If you can find out where is the trigger wire for the lift gate and use that to release the seat/switch.
Or use an aftermarket valet piece with a small remote control. You can use the trigger to close and open the seat. Very simple to do at an Car Audio Shop. I use my 2nd trigger to open the trunk and 3rd trigger to open the gas lid in my Lexus.
All you do is add a relay for negative or positive trigger.

Thanks for the info. I don't really want a fob for this. I just want a physical button that I can install in the driver's area. I looked up the switch part number for the back because they're both tied together there so on an install it might look as factory as possible. Still lots of research to do, mainly in finding the wiring schematic for how this is all linked together. Since there are 2 different locations where the seat release is activated, I want to know for sure how it's all connected before I go digging in to it.

I finally went and looked at the rear compartment and the seat switches. The rear switch panel for the middle and rear seat buttons are all in one bezel, so that won't work for what I'm thinking. It looks like I'll have to buy new switches that match the switch and bezel located on the panel just behind the middle row. Those part numbers are 22967350 and 22967349 (driver and passenger). I'm still trying to find a wiring diagram that shows the layout. This should be relatively easy once I can find the wires because I just need to add the wires in parallel to the current wiring and find a good place to mount the new switches in the front.

Anyone have the schematic that shows the wiring for this area?
