Has anyone looked into adding a couple cargo hooks/tie-down locations in the back of their Tahoe/Yukon?
I'm trying to come up with a good barrier solution for my dog - bought one of the aftermarket tube barriers at Cabelas and haven't loved it. It rattles, it moves around (I don't want to tighten it as hard as I can - it will dent the headliner). GM doesn't have an OEM barrier of course. My thought was to possibly use the two indents directly behind the second row where the cargo cover would mount, run a rod across there horizontally, then build off it. If I could mount somewhere on the floor that should give me enough stability.
The other idea, and why I ask about the hooks, is that if I could mount 4 of them into something sturdy behind the second row I could hook one of those PetNet dividers up. My dog is really calm and wouldn't try to force her way through, but she's big and likes to lounge, so she'll lean against it and I don't want it pulling off the little adhesive mount points PetNet comes with.
