All I wanted to do was to fix the leak in the timing cover..

Round 1. Bought a ATP, lots of RTV, busted a bolt (resolved) and it still leaked. Do some research, apparently the ATP were sub-par fits.

Sent it back, bought a AC Delco, and it seemed to fit very well. Put everything back together, and it was fine for 10 minutes. Then it leaked like the first one.

Do I have to drop the oil pan to get better fitment or something? Is there something else I'm obviously forgetting on this repair?

Pretty frustrating.. Any help would be appreciated.
