My 07 escalade alternator has gone bad and im hesitant to replace it with the o'reilly version even though its a lifetime warranty becaue i had to replace 3 of those on my tahoe and dont want to hope i get a working one. Can anyone reccomend a good replacement, im thinking of getting a GM one but they're expensive, and is the escalade a 145amp or 160amp? Thanks!

I'd get the part number through GMpartsdirect for the exact one specific to your VIN #.
Then, source the part via part number provided by gmpd through amazon or ebay. Or google it and check the sources provided there.

Both 145A and 169A are exchangeable. Get a 160A one.
