I wasn't in love with the look of the Esky rack on my truck until I added the chrome-stripped running boards. THEN it all really came together.

...Then again, my eye just might work differently than others', so do what you see fit.

My truck has been through a whole bunch of chrome/no chrome combos, so I'll share any insight I have if you'd like.

I, too, got in on SS' wheel deal. I just saw a Tahoe the same color as your truck with the same 22"s on it, and it looked awesome. It's really what put me over the top and "made" me order from SS. lol

Enjoy the modding and the Forum.

Great input. I am holding off on the roof rack for now. Liking the idea of replacing rear bumper and side trim next but a part of me is saying to stay with the monochromatic/nochrome look for now with the wheels as the centerpeice.
Thanks,

JD

The rear escalade/denali bumper is a subtle CLEAN mod that would def look good on your new ride. Be sure to keep us posted on the new rims!

These are nali/ltz molding before install:

And using a cheap chrome trim I had in storage I mocked up with scotch tape an approximate final look, of course the final result will be clean. :)

Here's another one ... it doesn't show very well cause the sun reflection on the lower window sill makes it look like there's esky chrome there, trust me though, even with the cheap chrome it looks good in person. :)

The truck looks like in my sig right now, those pics are with the cheap chrome trim I had mocked up to get a sense of what it will look like when the ltz/nali moldings get installed next week ... then the 'after' pics. :)

Well the pics of your car currently (this is the BEFORE part) and then you showed the mouldings but then didn't show the car with the new mouldings (this is the AFTER part)... lol I rear my original post again it didn't sound confusing to me... So what you are saying is they aren't on your car yet? If they aren't, hurry and put them on/take pics/post immediately please :Handshake:
