Advice on brake fluid choice.

Hey guys...I have read about brake fluid, and what to use...and some say DOT3, others say DOT4.Some use synthetic or the "Blue" stuff.
What have you guys used, and what are the results? What would you recommend?
I really appreciate the input with this, as I am changing the brakes this weekend, and bleeding and replacing the fluid.

I went with dot 4 on mine. Will work on the dot 3 as well and I went with the good stuff.

Thank you for the help...can you let me know what the "Good stuff" is?
This truck is new to me, and I do not know much about it yet...so I'm in the "ask a lot of questions and learn" stage.

use plain dot 3 and leave it be.

DOT 3 synthetic, but conventional will work too. If you can get it I recommend Wynn's. If you can't find it, Valvoline is good too.
