Welcome to the forum from Iowa.

Folks here are very willing to help you spend your money, it’s up to you to manage your budget. Sharing a little more about your goals and desires might help as there are lots of options.

Might take a stroll through the various build threads that people have in here. You will see a lot of the cool stuff folks have done.

One common recommendation when folks ask this question is to get a tube from Black Bear. They are a sponsoring vendor if the forum.

Since your vehicle is an ‘07 with the 6.2L, you don’t need to worry about AFM, so that’s good.

I’m sure others will be along and offer their thoughts.

I’d also make sure all maintenance is up to date. Front suspension, brake and coolant flushed, trans service, etc. it’s a great rig with lots of potential. Check out the 1000 hp 07 Denali.

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

Pics, please.

As you can see in my signature line, I've made a few mods, so far.

IMO, the single best mod that you can make for under $700 is to get a Black Bear Performance tune for both your engine and transmission controllers. The difference in how the truck performs is stunning. And, you don't have to go anywhere to get the tune done. Once you get your first tune, you can get additional tunes for free for the life of your truck, every time that you make a new mod that could impact performance.

Don't waste your money on a "cold air intake."

Snake oil that, at best does nothing, and at worst will destroy your engine.

Air raid does make an intake tube that has been documented to add a little HP.

A tune is a good place to start. I would recommend not messing with the speed governor. These things are scary-fast, and the 100-mph cap is a good way to control yourself.
