25 Order?

I need to get a new Suburban since a careless driver took our 16 out earlier this year. It has to be a 25 and it has to have the 3.0. Im aware of the order/availablity constraints, but im up in the air on to ordering or waiting for them to hit lots. Decided on black Z71, so which should be a popular combo. What you guys think for plant to get one the fastest? Order or wait for a target to hit the lot?

I plan on placing an order with my dealer in the next 10 days for a Duramax. I want my price locked in as I actually think they could go up with potential tariiffs, etc. It's possible that they would fill pre orders 1st, although I don't know this. I still have no illusion that it won't arrive till mid-May probably at the earliest, but if you don't get started you can't get done.
I wouldn't just hope one shows up to buy. They will be snapped up the day they drop at many dealers by customers just waiting for ANY Dmax Yukon/Tahoe to show up. Most dealers order relatively few Diesel Yukon's for stock anyways.....
