I recently rolled my 2002 suburban on it top. Got a new aftermarket radio and tried to hook it up tonight. The is no sound coming from it. P's when I bought the vehicle the factory wiring harness was cut. So had to wire in the the old school way and run all new speaker wire for the speakers. What could be causing the problem.

you rolled a suburban and your trying to replace its radio? i mean i geuss

anyway assuming the radio is powered on so what model/brand of radio is it. wires run directly from the 8 wires from the radio to the speakers and the 2 gray white purple and green all go to a separate speaker. if that's all correct volume is down mute button is pressed or the radio is junk
