Hey everyone first timer here on the TahoeYukon forums.

Bought me a 2003 Tahoe LT bout 3 months ago. First time owning a Chevy and I gotta say I love it. Still look back at it when I park it in my driveway haha. Got it for so cheap I cant help but love it. Came lowered with 20" Centerline wheels and I put 275s Goodyear LS2s all around. Has a flowmaster and K&N also. The Tahoe came with the factory Bose and OnStar. Stock stereo was the 6CD changer.

What I want to achieve is and auxiliary port and I decided to install a single din aftermarket stereo that I have available. Now I wired everything up as I've done before, color cordinated.

Results: no illumination or sound and the deck spit the CD out.

Please feel free to give me advice or suggestions
so I can get this ssquared away. I want the speakers to sound the same clean and crisp. I know I need a module to use steering wheel control and have everything else in working order and if you have a link post it.

I bought the adapter from a stereo shop amd wired it up to the stereo harness.
However the smaller harness that was plugged to the factory unit is still unplugged. After alittle reading i noticed ppl suggesting to use the pink wire from this harness and hook it with the blue/white wire from the stereo harness.

I took it to the stereo shop today and got it squared away.

The man cut the stereos red wire (which I believe is the switch/accessorie) and spliced it with the red wire directly behind the emergency brake handle. My Bose system works fine and everything is in working order, except the steering wheel control but I'll get to that next after I buy a better deck.
