My 07 Tahoe is in the shop right now and i have the Chevy extended warranty. Something is wrong with my ac and they want me to pay 680 out of pocket. What am i paying for a warranty for. I could understand if it was the brakes or something that broke cuz of my neglect but this is not the case. What are your experiences with the dealer and warranty repairs?

Do you have a zero deductible warranty? I purchased a GM major guard zero deductible 100,000 mile warranty.

Take it to another dealer and ask to speak with the service amanger and explain your problems. They should take care of it.

I ended up fixing it cuz i needed the car and they were trying to charge me a $200 diagnostic fee. Now i am trying to get the money back from the GMPP warranty people. They said that the repair shop told them i drove through water and thats what made the parts fail. I called the shop and he said he told her it was humidity. Somebodies lying!

Good luck getting that back. I think by paying it you may have screwed yourself and basically admitted fault even if it wasn't. Extended warranty companies are the biggest crooks ever they will do anything to get out of paying. I have had to fight with them several times.
