What is best for cleaning and air conditioning system? Best for cleaning coils and do you recommend spraying foam in the air conditioning ducts? I have a 2011 Chevy Tahoe that does not have a cabin filter.

Thank you

spraying something down the vents won't get anything be wet vents. you'd have to find the intake but even then it isn't going to do much of anything. you'll need direct access to the coils.

there's a tsb paper about cleaning the evaporator coils with some gm surff you spray in there. the part number doesn't really work but I'm sure a dealer could find it. it's pricy thou.

I guess it cleans and then seals the coils or something. it's said to help with the smell.

if you get it cleaned you might wanna install that filter so you don't have to do. it twice.

Best to order the retrofit kit from RockAuto to add a cabin air filter. After the hole is cut in the air box you can line the p/s floor with plastic and apply a coil cleaner, hose off down the floor and outside.
