Really? That's an impressive move. Maybe you can get the afe from NorCal. We'll get across the board results and he'll get an independent test which will help him sell more of them.

We sell the AFe, so no issues in grabbing one ourselves.

Ok so I'm worried about warranty issues if me engine ever blows up so I want GMC to install my car back and air box. They are cool installing a corsa because it's also 'officially' sold by gmc as an accessory (though I wouldn't have to buy through them). Anyone know if there is an 'official' air box GMC 'accessory'? Maybe for caddy? I can't find one. Don't want just the muffler since that does nothing for power (I know airbox doesn't do much). Thanks

Tune voids warranty. Intake will be fine as long as it has a carb number. If you put a non emmisions legal intake on dealer can say something.

If you really want to stay on the safe side I noticed that my local dealership now lists a GM made intake made specifically for the Tahoe (I'm sure there is one for the Yukon and Escalade as well now) but the price is outrageous. Was close to $500 if I recall correctly. Can't imagine it is even close to being that much better than all the other options out there for half the cost.

Don't know about twice the cost, but it has an aluminum intake tube, clear lid, air box, bolts in and looks sweat! That has to be worth something?

Definitely looks cool and I'm sure the differences between it and the K&N I bought for $262 are definitely there and have an impact. Just not sure it's worth the $550 the local dealership sells it for. After all there is only so much the intake on its own will do.
