So the Tahoe has been minimally driven since discovered the rear shock is leaking. Removed the air compressor fuse. Planning to replace both rear shocks as it has 98k miles. Need advice on what shocks to buy? Many options but only want to do this repair once (I hope) everything on it is stock has no modifications. Suggestions?The upper shock bolt is a bit tricky, due to its location, but with a bit of care, you can get it out, and then back in. A common issue with this is that you can accidently disconnect the electrical connector on the top of the frame in that area, when you work with the shocks, so be advised.
