Airaid intake and throttle body spacer

I installed an airaid intake and throttle body spacer just before the Bully Dog GT. It made a huge difference. Sounds cool too!

I got them both from Airaid. Just wakes up the engine and you can hear is pulling in air. I DO NOT HAVE EXHAUST because I want it to stay quiet inside.

FYI,
With most exhaust systems for this truck, it DOES stay quiet!!! VERY quiet..

I've also read up that a TBS for our particular model is pointless because of where the air/fuel is mixed at.

i put a airaid throtle body on my 07 yukon and when u punch it you hear a sound like a turbo charger sound.. you hear the air going in fast when you punch it..

The air goes in at the same speed as if you didn't have the TBS. What you are hearing is the air going over the ribs in the TBS.

I have the same set up i like the whistle sound from the tbs and i always say get the cheapest cai you can find air aid made 2 types -1 box + tube -2 just the box ,i had the second one ,i think the stock tube is the same ,save money but what i have more than your set up is a set of lt headers and believe me with lt headers you will stay quiet if you keep the stock exhaust.

Yeah, throttle body spacers do not have any performance gains for our engines. The same goes for headers alone without any supporting mods (intake+exhaust+tune).

Ya..X2...I put the tbs on mine Wish I would have known, could have spent the $$ on lotto and had the same result.
