I found this on CL just a few moments ago....
http://kansascity.craigslist.org/pts/2271409504.html

It's used but appears to be only slightly. New it's a $260 unit and he's trying to sell it for $170 which I think is a bit high for it being used. I've offered him $100 (which is probably a bit low ) We'll see what he says. I may have a new Airaid intake tonight, though :D I'd probably talk myself into paying as much as $120 for it but being used I'd have a hard time paying much more than that.

What do you guys think?

You just hook it up to the stock tube. I'd probably end up getting that later but just use the stock tube for the time being.

its 200 on summit. I got it on ebay for 70 shipped brand new but I got lucky. You need the modular intake tube too-- that actually does more then the filter part of the "CAI". I have this exact one and the tube. You can purchase the whole kit for 300 ish but total I spent 170.

Do you know how much the tube is to buy separately? Makes me think that even my $100 offer may have been too much...

Do you know what part number that is by chance? I've been searching for the part number for just that tube and have not had any luck so far :banghead:

What he said, $100 is a rip off for a used filter and heat shield IMO. The stock tube is the most restrictive part of the intake.

Thanks for the tips on this. For some reason I hadn't even thought about this but does make perfect sense :)

airaid tube is 200-996. Might want to double check on that but I am almost positive it is that.

Also check out this air filter kit. I just installed it on my tahoe. It is a Roush intake but is made by airaid with the roush name on it. It doesn't come with the tube.

Thanks for the link and part number!! I'll validate the number when I get near a computer again :)
