yea a fully done and restored one will bring around 25. I have yet to see a nice Triaxle go on ebay. itll be fun to post it on ebay when times ready.

I trading some work. Im doing a bimini top on a wakeboard boat and the guy who owns the boat is a carpenter. So im having him, make me all new back bed frames, front Ushaped bad ass couch and more. He pays for his canvas material for the boat, and ill pay for the wood and shit.. That way i dont need to dick around making wood. Itll save me a lot of time and hassle since im not the expert in the "wood working compartment"
lol

Nice! That's the way to do it is trading like that. I've often wished I had some skill worth trading like that but computer programming and do-it-yourself body work is not condusive to that :D

And your dad owns a shop right or is this a business you've started on your own?

Cool man:waytogo: keep up the good work and keep enjoying what your doing! That's the main thing. If you enjoy it it's not really a job anymore :)

Customers 30something foot Crownline boat. He had a cockpit cover which is from the top of the windshield to the back of the boat, he requested an over the windshield cover. So drilling all new studs in the front of the windshield was all custom and done by me. I do everything from scratch, i dont use patterns or anything. Its all custom made to every persons boat. Use a lifetime warranty thread that will never break, rip, deteriorate, or anyttthing! Costs about 200 bucks for a 1/2 spool of thread. Go figure. Custom made flaps so no water/birds or other critters can get in.
The bimini cover (the cover over the other cover lol) is not my work. thats factory stuff. Its wrinkly since its not hooked on the front. FYI :)

That's a nice cover! Lots of boats up here, many crappy covers, including mine. I still haven't found a good shop to do it. Though I haven't tried hard really. That's also a very nice Airstream. Love those. Someday might get me one.

Nice ride you got.
Cheers!
Dave

As for up-to-date goodies....Im going with granite counter tops and a nice sandstone material for the flooring.

Today and yesterday i bought Luann wood (about 1/4" plywood thats smooth) and covered the whole airstream flooring. This way itll even everything out, have a nice smooth surface for the sandstone and such.

Way to go using granite c-tops - I love stone. You actually putting in real sandstone for flooring? Where from, what color and what format? Is there a pic yet?

Cheers!
Dave

PS. Used to live in Berea.

Hey Dave, well if you ever need a cover let us know! michigans not too far but for a cover i guess it wouldnt be worth the drive lol.

As for the airstream, its currently on hold do to the shop be SWAMPED with work. My dad leases out industrial buildings, and on of his tenants is the only person to sell this "granite" and sandstone. It came out to be too expensive for us so were going a different route. I can get you a phone number if your interested, its super thin material, lightweight but yet its real and looks good.

Thanks for bringing this thread back to life, i actullay have tons of new pictures to throw up of shop projects
