How often should a Tahoe/Yukon have an Alignment done after being dropped ?

If it's a good shop, once.

I get mine done every 6,000 miles.

Seriously?

So around every oil change or so your getting your truck aligned? I hope you're not paying for it.

If you've already had a proper/correct alignment, it should not change alignment until something in the suspension wears out or is damaged. Alignment doesn't change. The only thing that changes it is wear or damage. Hitting a pot hole or a thousand pot holes won't knock your suspension out of alignment unless you hit something hard enough to actually bend metal. That really doesn't happen very often, so having the wheels aligned periodically is a waste of money.

No I do not pay for it, I take it to a buddies shop. I guess I should of been more clear. I'm basically just checking if it's to spec every time I get my oil changed/tires rotated. I dropped my truck last year and only needed it done after the install.

Oh wow. Yea anytime u lift/drop or change suspension for that matter, you definitely need an alignment.

Anytime a suspension component is altered an alignment is typically recommended.
After that it is not needed unless you hit a pot hole or curb that throws the car out of spec.
Last time I got an alignment was in March 2010 after I installed drop spindles. That was 10,000 miles ago and I have had no issues through the 3 set of wheels/tires I have gone through since.
