The inside of my driver side tire has the tread worn off. Outside is fine. All other tires are prefect. Truck drives straight as an arrow. Leads me to believe the camber is off on my front driver side????? Trying to find alignment specs. Got below from HERE
Caster:
L: 3.50° ± 1.00°
R: 4.50° ± 1.00°
Cross Caster (L-R): -1.00° ± 0.50°
Camber: +0.25° ± 0.50°
Cross Camber (L-R): 0.00° ± 0.50°
Total Toe: +0.10° ± 0.20°
Steering Wheel Angle: -1.0° ± 3.5°
I measured with a janky camber magnet tool to get an idea of if I could see issue. It only does 0.5 degree increments. My floor is -1.5 degrees in front of both tires.
+0.5 Passenger & + 1.5 Driver (chewed up tire).
Subtract out floor...
-1.0 Passenger & 0.0 Driver (chewed up tire), as the tool only does 0.5 degree incaments I think this quite possibly well within the specs... -0.25 to 0.75 degrees of camber angle. At least not bad enough to have a single tire chewed up...
Any idea?
Unsure if it's maybe cause I bought used tires... bought in pairs and kept those pairs together on same axle.
Thinking of installing these once I know my alignment is spot on.
I fear driving off road may have knocked it loose?
