All red taillight clearcoating

Has anyone on here painted their taillights all red, or basically painted over the amber for our turn signals? i like the look of all red with the white reverse light. has anyone done it to theirs or had it done? if so what did you use and what was your method?

ive used it before.its a jdm lens paint $34.00 on ebay and it works great.all i did was sand my lights with some scotch bright pads and sprayed the paint on it,it turned out great,as a matter of fact im gonna do the same thing with with my hoe in a little while..........post pics when you do it.

Commonly referred to as "candied tails"...I've done to my Denali and it looks great, but am debating on the smoked X3Racing LED's on eBay.

yea i like the look ill probably do it this weekend. im not a huge fan of aftermarket tails, and i absoloutly hate the amber turn signals so its gunna happen

Agreed...ambers are ugly...just pulled the trigger on the X3Racing tails.

A buddy of mine did these. Sand then use mix of red/clear. Then a final coat of clear ....Way much better than the amber !
