I need to get new tires for my 07 Yukon Denali before fall/winter so I'm trying to decide which brand and model to get.
The wheels are the factory 20" chrome wheels.
I'd like a tire the has good grip in the dry and wet, as well as occasional snow/ice since this is now my DD and I'm not exactly going to take the cammed camaro out in slick weather. I also occasionally drive on the beach/sand dunes but that would be very infrequently since I'll usually take my dad's pickup to haul the trailer.
The tires I'm leaning towards currently are:
1. Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza (current tire, OE I think, seems fine but they are getting toward the end of their life)
2. Nitto 420S (Seems to get good reviews on here and a good looking tire)
3. Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1 (probably great snow/ice traction but concerned about dry traction and how quick they would wear?)
I'd be open to other suggestions as well. The bridgestones would be the stock size 275/55R20 and since Nitto doesn't make that size I'd probably go with 305/50R50 (very close to stock height but fatter). Will a 305/50 fit a Denali without rubbing? I'm not sure what width the stock rims are, is that tire too wide for them?
Thanks in advance!
