Ok so I found out that I have a 105amp output alternator and I need to upgrade to a 140 amp but the harness connection on the back of the 140 is different. Is there anyone here that has done this upgrade and how were you able to solve this problem?

instead of trying to make a different alt fit and have to change the wiring just order a built alt for your truck you dont have to go huge just to what power you need

You can get a pigtail with terminals from a dealer or junkyard and use the pictures below to wire properly
