Aluminum Driveshaft

I didn't even know NBS came with them. I googled the part # and it comes up for a chevy Trailblazer and Bravada. Anyone know if it'll fit?

Just found out this one is 4" too short. But--is there an aluminum ds available--stock/oem?

no clue, but just making sure you check on the Envoy XUV/ or the TB XUT. I think its more than a foot longer, but no clue on wheel base. Probably too long.

I wouldn't mind having one(oem) that fit from something else.

I checked into that myself. Silverado Trucks have them but they have a longer wheel base than the Tahoe.

You might be able to have one custom made. Dorman has New Steel shafts but not aluminum.

You looking to get towed home again? Those twist-o-matics don't take kindly to rapid starts or power braking or burnouts and such. And they certainly don't like to spin really faster either!

I remember when they were all the rage with the Buicks and my buddies and customers getting towed home because they twisted them in half with little effort. No thanks!

As @swathdiver said, they are prone to breaking. But out of curiosity why did you decide you wanted one.? Certainly wouldn’t make your hoe any faster.
