Helllo all

Last night i tried to install an Airraid CAI set up on my 2010 yukon and I couldnt get past step #2 "remove breather hose".

I was literally laying across my engine compoartment pulling on this breather hose (yes the correct hose) and it would not budge

What am I missing??
Any help greatly appreciated

Haha! I'm laughing because I, for the life of me, couldn't get the breather hose REATTACHED. As it turns out, I was trying to attach the hose to the wrong piece. It wasn't perfectly clear at first, but then I realized my error. Prior to that very moment, I assumed that I was just going to have to put the whole stock set up back in, since I couldn't get this damn thing reattached.

I'll run out to my truck and see if I can see what you're having a problem with, since I don't remember much else about my install...

Are you having a problem getting the breather hose male-end pulled out of the intake tube? Is that the problem? If not, can you be more specific?

(I am reminded that my problem was trying to re-insert the male-end into the aftermarket tube, and that's not what I was supposed to be doing. The kit came with the piece of hose that slipped over the male end at each connection point. I was completely missing the whole new hose aspect.)

Thanks - my breather hose seems to have some weird attachment on the end of it. Not to mention its located under two wire harness clips that I can't move. I was actually expecting the hose to be somewhat plyable, but its surprisingly very rigid

I have the same problem with my 2010 tahoe. I was excited to install the airaid 201-796 and stopped after this obstacle of the breather hose. In the manual is somewhat unclear. What seems to be the most possible hose is sort of a weird hose type, that seem to be impossible to be removed. I hope someone can help us out here.
