Guys,

I have been bitten by the car audio bug. I just upgraded the HU in my 01 tahoe, and now I want to upgrade everything else. I'm not an audiophile, I'm not rich, and I don't listen to music with crazy bass that rattles the doors. I have some speakers and stuff picked out, but what I'm looking for is a smallish amp that can power my front doors and my sub. I will probably be bypassing the factory amp altogether, so I just want something that can put 50 watts or so to the front doors (not concerned about the rear doors at this point) and whatever is left to the sub. SO I guess I want a four channel that I can run with the 3rd and 4th bridged. I'm just new to this and don't know what is total crap and what is of decent quality. Maybe in the $100 range. Something that is good "bang for the buck". Anyone?

Thanks, that should be perfect! In checking out a bunch of sites that sell car audio, I kept coming across that one, so I should have known!

Out of curiosity what is your background with car audio? Also he stated in the first post ~$100 was his budget

Not me personally, all I do is design boxes based on customer preferences and Subwoofer specs, and 12v Installer
